Silver Nova Reviews & Ratings: Is It the Right Cruise for You?
Launched in 2023, the Silver Nova is the flagship of Silversea’s groundbreaking Nova Class. She completely tore up the rulebook on luxury ship design by introducing an asymmetrical layout. By shifting the ship’s funnel and elevator banks off-center, Silversea created massive, uninterrupted, outward-facing open spaces that connect passengers to the ocean like never before.
Operating with a staggering 1:1.3 crew-to-guest ratio and featuring butler service for every single suite, the Silver Nova delivers unparalleled, ultra-luxury service. In 2026, she will spend her seasons chasing the sun between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.

2026 Itineraries & Deployment Updates
Silver Nova focuses on deep destination immersion in 2026:
Onboard Experience: What to Expect
Asymmetrical Design & The Marquee
Because of the off-center design, the pool deck on the Silver Nova is unlike any other ship. The pool itself is situated on the starboard side, offering unobstructed views directly down to the water. The deck above features The Marquee, a stunning al fresco dining venue draped in greenery, perfect for sun-drenched Mediterranean lunches.
S.A.L.T. (Sea and Land Taste) Program
The beating heart of the Silver Nova is the S.A.L.T. program, designed to immerse you in the local food culture of the ports you visit.
- S.A.L.T. Kitchen: A restaurant where the menu changes daily based on the specific region or port the ship is visiting that day.
- S.A.L.T. Bar: Serving cocktails inspired by local ingredients.
- S.A.L.T. Lab: A test kitchen where guests can take hands-on cooking classes led by expert chefs.
All-Suite, All-Balcony
Every single cabin on the Silver Nova is a suite, and every suite features a private glass balcony. The suites are exceptionally spacious, featuring walk-in closets, marble bathrooms, and dedicated butler service for every guest, regardless of the suite category.
Dining & All-Inclusive Policies (Updated 2026)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) About Silver Nova
What is the dress code on Silver Nova?
During the day, resort casual is appropriate. In the evenings, the dress code is enforced. “Elegant Casual” requires slacks and a collared shirt for men (jackets optional). On voyages of 7 nights or longer, there are “Formal” nights where men are expected to wear a tuxedo or dark suit and tie, and women wear evening gowns or cocktail dresses.
Are shore excursions included on Silversea?
Yes. If you book the standard Door-to-Door or Port-to-Port fares, at least one complimentary shore excursion is included in every single port of call. You can also purchase highly specialized “S.A.L.T. Ashore” excursions for a deeper culinary dive.
Is the Silver Nova an expedition ship?
No. While Silversea has an expedition fleet (like the Silver Endeavour), the Silver Nova is a classic luxury ocean ship designed for warm-weather cruising in regions like the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
