Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) About Perth Airport Lounges
Can I walk from the Virgin Australia lounge (T1) to the Qantas lounge (T4)?
No. Perth Airport is geographically split. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are located on one side of the main runway, while Terminals 3 and 4 are located on the complete opposite side. You cannot walk between them; you must take the free terminal transfer bus (which takes roughly 15 minutes) or a taxi.
Does Perth Airport have a Priority Pass lounge?
Yes. If you hold a Priority Pass, DragonPass, or a premium credit card like the Amex Platinum (which includes Priority Pass), you can access the Aspire Lounge located in Terminal 1 (International). Please note that there are currently no Priority Pass lounges available in Terminals 2, 3, or 4.
Can I pay to enter a lounge at Perth Airport?
Yes, if you are flying internationally out of Terminal 1, you can purchase a casual 3-hour walk-in pass for the Aspire Lounge (subject to capacity). The domestic lounges operated by Qantas and Virgin Australia do not allow general public walk-in purchases at the door.
Why is Qantas flying international flights out of a domestic terminal?
Qantas operates its non-stop European flights (to London, Paris, and Rome) out of Terminal 3 to allow seamless connections for passengers arriving on domestic Qantas flights from Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. They built a dedicated International Transit Lounge and a custom customs/immigration checkpoint specifically within T3 for these passengers.
